At a press conference following a town hall meeting in Kingstree, S.C, Sen. Barack Obama took questions from his traveling press corps.

Obama spoke at the start about the economic stimulus agreement between Republicans and Democrats and about the situation in Kenya.

Then the conversation turned to - what else - the Clintons.

The two-pronged assault Obama faces has dominated the campaign for about two weeks. At the conference, a reporter mused that Obama has been getting a “free ride” from the press of late.
