How does an “elitist” charge possibly stick against an individual with Sen. Barack Obama’s background? This entire line of attack by his rivals — sparked by Obama’s remarks about rural Pennsylvanians at a fundraiser - not only ignores a much larger issue, but it is disingenuous and simply not the case.

The reactions to Obama’s supposed gaffe, termed “Bitter-gate” or “Cling-gate,” are also the subject of the cartoon below, entitled “Who’s Out of Touch?”
