Obama Avoids Shutout Among Kentucky Counties

Unlike last week’s West Virginia primary, where he was blanked in counties carried (the political equivalent of being shut out in a game of pool and having to run around the block naked at the frat house), Barack Obama actually managed to win two in Kentucky Tuesday, despite being shellacked 65-30 percent overall…

Barack Obama’s victories came in the counties where Lexington and Louisville are located. Hillary Clinton carried the rest of the Bluegrass State handily, capturing a whopping 450,000 votes to his 200,000.

The final margin is still being tabulated, but with 95 percent of the precincts in, he’s leading approximately 59-41 percent, and 345,000 votes to 200,000.
