Scott McClellan served as press secretary for George W. Bush. While doing his job dutifully during his time in the position, McClellan resigned on April 26, 2006 and has subsequently criticized the administration.
In a book released in 2008, Scott McClellan says President Bush "veered terribly off course," was not "open and forthright on Iraq."
He also speaks candidly about the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and the Valerie Plame affair, two of the other black marks on the administration.
A couple of years too late, but refreshing to hear someone previously on the inside admit to mistakes made in the administration, isn't it?
